Viennese Historism Lantern

Beau­ti­ful­ly exe­cut­ed hand forged, black lantern with four orig­i­nal fine­ly etched glass­es. Leaf gilt and with rich orna­men­tal dec­o­ra­tion through­out. The stem is orig­i­nal and orna­men­tal­ly embell­ished, 4‑lights.

This kind of high­ly dec­o­ra­tive lanterns, orig­i­nal­ly used with gas, illu­mi­nat­ed ele­gant entrances and stair­cas­es in the grand Vien­nese town­hous­es in the last 3^rd of the 19^th cen­tu­ry. Now new­ly fit­ted for elec­tric­i­ty in our inhouse-workshops.
