Rare, Very Fine Carved Console Table

Carved in wal­nut; raised on four rich­ly dec­o­rat­ed cabri­ole legs ter­mi­nat­ing in paw feet; the qual­i­ty of the fine­ly carved female heads with beau­ti­ful­ly elab­o­rat­ed hair in each cor­ner, flank­ing a smil­ing Mas­queron in the cen­ter, is tru­ly excep­tion­al. On top an orig­i­nal black and white veined, bev­elled mar­ble plate.

A beau­ti­ful exam­ple of the out­stand­ing crafts­man­ship of the end of the 19^th century.
