Impressive, Colorful, Venetian Chandelier
A “Rezzonico” Chandelier, named after the eponymous family who built a Palace at the Canale Grande in Venice in 1750.
An exceptionally fine combination of pastel colors and abundant decoration in the shape of bellflowers, blossoms, leaves and berries, partly in a pasty glass imitating porcelain; the richly embellished receiving bowl with a grape shaped glass terminal is issuing the center vase with applied blossoms and leaves, which eventually finishes in the foliate and blossom decorated corona, composed of 2 levels and ceiling fitment.
The 3‑level and 16-light chandelier has hand forged arms, clad in various glass elements terminating in large drip pans. This magnificent piece is an exceptional example of the stunning craftsmanship and beautiful color combination of Venetian chandeliers, and perfect for a space with a unique atmosphere.
Rare to find in this stunning original condition and fantastic provenance.
We are delighted to be able to offer two further Venetian Chandeliers in different sizes:
Please see here a beautiful smaller example (12-light), and a larger one (24-light).
Our Chandeliers are undergoing a very precise and careful renovation process in our inhouse workshops and are fitted for electricity.
