Very Rare, Four-Arm Wall Sconces

Wood-carved and leaf gilt pair of very rare Wall Sconces with ele­gant, court­ly appeal.

The round, part­ly orna­men­tal, foli­ate pierced fit­ment is beau­ti­ful­ly elo­barat­ed and has a fine­ly made wreath in the mid­dle, from which the four arms emerge.

The four, swept arms are hand­forged and with won­der­ful wood-carved acan­thus dec­o­ra­tion; sur­mount­ed by the wood-carved, blos­som-shaped drip pans, issu­ing the very clear elab­o­rat­ed can­dles.

These four-armed wall sconces can cer­tain­ly be con­sid­ered one of one of the most beau­ti­ful and rare, wood-carved mod­els of this peri­od in Vien­na.

The grace­ful­ly shaped exe­cu­tion and the fine gild­ing with its beau­ti­ful pati­na under­line the ele­gance of this pair with­out being over­loaded. These objects will add a mag­nif­i­cent aura to every Inte­ri­or for sure.

They got ren­o­vat­ed with utmost care in our in-house work­shops and are new­ly fit­ted for electricity.
