Large Art Deco Writing Desk

This ele­gant desk is made in Pal­isander and macas­sar veneer on oak; front and back­side with very fine ebony, moth­er-of-pearl and ivory inlay decoration.

The leather inset top is framed by a mould­ed and pal­isander veneered bor­der, above three frieze draw­ers, and is raised on ele­gant, flut­ed sculpt­ing, bombe form legs. All draw­ers fit­ted with a lock, includ­ing one with a sep­a­rate­ly lock­able inner com­part­ment with an orig­i­nal key.
