This table is a designer piece by American-born, England-based artist Danny Lane. The design of this large couch table features a curved glass top and four legs made of thick stacked glass plates that are irregularly broken on the inside.

The incredible refraction of light gives the table a color reflection from mint to blue-green, conveying the feeling of flowing water. Danny Lane (born on January 27, 1955) is one of the most significant glass artists of the late 20th century. Lane is particularly known for his glass and steel sculptures. In the 1980s, Lane also made a name for himself with his art furniture made of glass and steel, which stand like sculptures in the room.

His objects are in the most important museums worldwide, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, as well as in many collections and public spaces. The world’s largest glass sculpture, awarded the Crystal Achievement Award,” was also a creation by Danny Lane.
