Elegant Freestanding Jugendstil Display Glass Cabinet
An exceptional and rare Art Nouveau design of a freestanding glass display cabinet crafted in octagonal form. The framework is executed with great refinement in mahogany and finished with shellac polish; the fittings are made of brass.
The cabinet is raised on four slightly profiled legs with stylized feet and is connected in the lower section by a cross stretcher in arched form. The upper section of the cabinet is designed with four large faceted glass panels. The four beveled edges of the cabinet top are each fitted with a double-faceted cut glass element.
The cabinet is fitted with a lock, located at the upper part of the door. The interior comes with two glass shelves.
A very elegant and refined piece of furniture, designed to stand freely in the center of a room. Due to the many glass surfaces and its delicate design, this cabinet does not visually diminish a room in any way.
