Gilt Basket Chandelier

Mag­nif­i­cent­ly craft­ed 12-armed chan­de­lier exe­cut­ed in bas­ket form.

The rich, cut glass orna­ments con­sist of orig­i­nal, upward taper­ing olive-shaped glass cups or bul­bous and glass bead pen­dants. The chan­de­lier frame is exe­cut­ed in high qual­i­ty gilt bronze. The large chan­de­lier hoop is bor­dered by twelve vol­u­met­ri­cal­ly exe­cut­ed chan­de­lier arms, crowned by fine­ly chis­eled can­dle sock­ets. Between the twelve chan­de­lier arms are twelve large, ele­gant­ly exe­cut­ed and gild­ed pal­mettes insert­ed into the hoop.

Below the glass bas­ket is a small hoop, adorned cen­tral­ly with a flo­ral motif and a pine cone as a fin­ish­ing touch, which is dec­o­rat­ed with rich glass bead pen­dants in two rows. The crown­ing of this extra­or­di­nary chan­de­lier is made of a hoop with stand­ing gild­ed pal­mettes and glass bead pen­dants.

A rare chan­de­lier of dream­i­ly beau­ti­ful qual­i­ty and con­di­tion, with 12 fine­ly wrought arms and a won­der­ful­ly warm light reflec­tion; a mag­nif­i­cent high­light for any room to be illuminated.
