Exceptional Salon Mirror

Extra­or­di­nar­i­ly exe­cut­ed, wood­en carved, and ges­so Salon Mir­ror with beau­ti­ful leaf gild­ing. The fine­ly dec­o­rat­ed frame is rich­ly embell­ished with Rocaille and shell orna­ments. The abun­dant, part­ly pierced crown, show­cas­es a mer­maid sur­round­ed by sea waves, sur­mount­ed by a vivid­ly made Rocaille.

The old, orig­i­nal mir­ror plate is elab­o­rate­ly hand cut, and in great con­di­tion with beau­ti­ful pati­na.

Remark­ably ele­gant Salon Mir­ror in the style of the 18^th Cen­tu­ry, exe­cut­ed in the sec­ond half of the 19^th Century.
